So my name is Adrianne Verga. I'm a management consultant for Boston Consulting Group. So management consulting actually varies within skill sets, specialties. So primarily, what I focus on, is technology strategy. From a digital standpoint, we help industries become more modern, from their architecture to their data sets and overall transformation. It could be from traditional waterfall methodologies to an agile transformation. From my level, we actually have, what we call, proposals. Clients give us problems to solve, which is also a big thing why you go to MBA schools, you go to business schools. They always teach you case studies. Case studies is basically how you solve problems. It's our way of analyzing how you think, your framework so basically. Currently, at my role at BCG, I'm in a division called PIPE, Principal Investors & Private Equity. So we mostly focus on PE firms or investment banking firms who are looking to make a bid on clients. Some of our cases revolve in post-merger integration, M&A type of work. It takes proper coordination to be able to handle all the data and to be able to, not only get the data, but to make sense of it. And that's also another skill set that consultants bring to the table, is how can we bring insights and what value are we providing the client? With a management consultant, you're actually expected to be traveling almost 99%, 90%. So I'm constantly traveling from Sunday to Thursday, but it's an adventure and especially being young and at this career level. I've been to California for six months. I've been to Boston, Chicago. This career really allowed me to grow and be adventurous.
