Duties
-Prepares and attends Pre-recruitment Consultations with the Human Resources Specialist and hiring manager.
-Uploads recruitment documents into the hiring system for proper documentation of the recruitment action.
-Drafts recurring and new vacancy announcements for Missouri Basin Region positions.
-Performs miscellaneous clerical work such as preparing work status reports, maintaining and closing out electronic vacancy case files, arranging for panel reviews, answering applicant inquiries, coordinating Permanent Change in Station relocations and constructing offer letters to new hires.
-Processes a wide range of personnel actions for an assigned segment of the organization.

Qualifications
In order to be rated as qualified for this position, the HR Office must be able to determine that you meet the specialized experience requirement – this information must be clearly supported in the resume.
GS-06
Specialized Experience: One full year of specialized experience equivalent in responsibility and scope to the GS-05 level; or its non-Federal equivalent that includes experience compiling technical documents; entering data into a database; and preparing reports, spreadsheets, or other documents.
GS-07
Specialized Experience: One full year of specialized experience equivalent in responsibility and scope to the GS-06 level; or its non-Federal equivalent that includes experience reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness; analyzing data generated by a database; and preparing reports, spreadsheets, or other documents.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
