📋 How to Prepare:

Sign Up: Reserve your spot(s) for a mock interview and a resume review by selecting your time slots below. Note, you can only choose 1 slot per volunteer, and no more than 3 slots total. If you are interested in more slots, please email careerservices@smumn.edu to be added to a waitlist. 
Once confirmed, select the blue “Register” button in the top right. You will receive a confirmation email from Handshake. 

Update Your Résumé: Upload your résumé to Handshake and complete your profile by September 30th. 

Dress for Success: Come dressed professionally and bring copies of your resume. Email studentsuccess@smumn.edu if you want to access the clothing closet on campus. 

BONUS TIP: Bring a job, internship, or graduate program posting you’re interested in—it will help your reviewer tailor feedback on your résumé. For interviews, take it a step further: run the posting through Google Gemini to generate 5–8 likely questions and bring them along for targeted practice. Here is a prompt you can use in Gemini to help: “Here’s a job/internship/graduate program posting I’m interested in [paste posting]. Please: (1) suggest how I can highlight the most relevant skills and experiences on my résumé to better match this posting, and (2) generate 5–8 likely interview questions I may be asked based on it.”
